France: foreign exchange reserves increase by almost €9 billion in October

(Boursier.com) — The net foreign exchange reserves of the French State amounted, at the end of October 2023, to 222.970 billion euros ($236.772 billion) compared to 214.048 billion euros ($226.762 billion) at the end of September 2023, i.e. an increase of €8.922 billion, including the impact of valuation methods at the end of month exchange rates.

The net reserves of the French State are distributed as follows:
– Gold reserves: 147.284 billion euros
– Net foreign currency reserves: €29.543 billion
– Reserve position at the IMF: €7.044 billion
– Assets in SDRs: €36.223 billion
– Other reserve assets: €2.876 billion.
