November 15 (Reuters) – Consumer price inflation in France calculated using harmonized European standards (HICP) reached 7.1% year on year in October, INSEE announced on Tuesday, confirming its first estimate.
Compared to September, HICP inflation came out at 1.2%, a figure revised down slightly compared to the initial estimate of 1.3%.
The rise in the consumer price index (CPI), i.e. inflation calculated according to French standards, is also confirmed at 6.2% over one year in October and at ??1.0% one month over the other. (Written by Kate Entringer)
