France issues €5 billion of its new OAT maturing in May 2043

FRANKFURT (Agefi-Dow Jones)–Agence France Trésor on Tuesday syndicated €5 billion of a new bond assimilable du Trésor (OAT) maturing in May 2043, one of the banks said. leaders of the operation.

The order book for this issue exceeded €32.5 billion, of which €1.4 billion came from lead banks.

The spread set for the OAT is 7 basis points higher than that of the rate of return of the OAT at 0.50% which matures in May 2040, specified the same bank. The bond, issued with a rate of 2.596%, carries a coupon of 2.5%.

The lead managers of the operation were BNP Paribas, BofA Securities, Deutsche Bank, HSBC and JPMorgan.
