PARIS, June 25 (Reuters) – Emmanuel Macron has “decided to confirm (his) confidence” in Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne to “lead the government’s action over time” after an initial round of consultations with political forces led by the executive, the president said in an interview with AFP.
According to the press agency’s Twitter account, the Head of State said he had asked Elisabeth Borne to present him with “proposals” at the end of next week for “a new government of action” which will be named “in the first days of July”.
