France-New car registrations down 22.58% in April-PFA – 05/01/2022 at 01:33


PARIS, May 1 (Reuters) – New car registrations in France fell by 22.58% year on year in April, according to data released on Sunday by the Automotive Platform (PFA).

It registered 108,723 private vehicles in France last month, reported the PFA. April had 20 working days this year, compared to 21 in 2021.

Stellantis group new car registrations

STLA.MI, which notably includes the Peugeot, Citroën, DS and Opel brands, fell 29.26% last month from a year earlier.

The Renault group (Renault, Dacia and Alpine brands)

RENA.PA saw its registrations in France decline by 20.96% at an annual rate in April.
