FRANCE: NEW CAR REGISTRATIONS DOWN 7.06% IN JULY, ACCORDING TO THE PFA

PARIS (Reuters) – New car registrations in France fell by 7.06% year on year in July, according to data released on Monday by the Automotive Platform (PFA).

It registered 107,547 private vehicles in France last month, reported the PFA. July had 20 working days this year, compared to 21 in 2021.

Registrations of new cars from the Stellantis group, which notably includes the Peugeot, Citroën, DS and Opel brands, fell last month by 9.91% compared to a year earlier.

The Renault group (Renault, Dacia and Alpine brands) saw its registrations in France increase by 10.84% ​​at an annual rate in July.
