Renault
RENA.PA will invest 300 million euros by 2026 in the production of new generation electric vans in Sandouville (Seine-Maritime), a press release announced on Friday.
The manufacturer also announced its intention to hire 550 people, including 400 on permanent contracts, over four years in the Sandouville factory, which currently has 1,850 employees.
This investment is in addition to the 300 million euros already announced by Renault for the Flexis JV created with Volvo Group. The joint venture is developing the vehicles that will be manufactured in Sandouville from 2026.
