PARIS, September 29 (Reuters) – The French Competition Authority announced on Thursday that it had fined Altice 75 million euros for failing to comply with injunctions issued in 2017 as part of the deployment of fiber.

The Competition Authority recalls in a press release that it had criticized Altice in 2017 for not having implemented the commitments made in the context of the takeover of SFR.

“The Autorité today issues a decision in which it proceeds to the liquidation of the penalty payments pronounced during its 2017 decision and sanctions Altice for not having correctly executed the injunctions of the Autorité within the time limits set”, specifies-t she in a statement.
