France: Unexpected rise in industrial production in June


Aug 5 (Reuters) – France’s industrial production rose unexpectedly in June, driven by an increase in capital goods, mining and quarrying as well as food and transport equipment, according to data published Friday by INSEE.

French industrial production increased by 1.4% in June after a revised rise of 0.2% in May (vs. 0.0% initially).
