At the microphone of Europe 1-CNews, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, MP for Essonne and President of Debout la France, criticized French migration policy. He believes in particular that the French borders are not controlled enough.
The MP wants “the French to decide for the French” in particular through referendums on subjects such as immigration. According to him, France “does the complete opposite” of real immigration control.

The former presidential candidate pleads for the following measures: border control and examination of asylum requests in border detention centers. “Of the 150,000 asylum seekers, 100,000 who were refused asylum are still on French soil, 90% of them,” he explains.
He also defends the primacy of national law. “With the European circulars, the jurisprudence of the Court of Justice of the EU and the ECHR, we cannot expel. Did you know that Macron, Darmanin and Borne, repatriated jihadist women. They are today in prison and will be released soon.
