Francesco Totti and Ilary Blasi’s marriage is in tatters. The ex-footballer and the model have now confirmed their separation.
Love from Francesco Totti (45) and his wife Ilary Blasi (41). The former soccer star and the model have split. The 2006 World Champion confirmed corresponding rumors in the Italian media in a statement to the Italian news agency Ansa: “I tried to overcome the crisis in my marriage, but today I understood that the decision to separate – albeit painful – was inevitable is.”
Blasi also commented on her marriage on Monday evening: “After 20 years together and three wonderful children, my marriage to Francesco is over.” There will be no further statements about the details of the separation. She asks all media to refrain from further speculation about the protection of the family. Totti also announced that he will continue to be there for his offspring: “I will continue to be close to Ilary as our three wonderful children grow up.”
