Presented by Léa Salamé, the show regularly welcomes renowned public figures. Saturday September 23, 2023, Raphaël Glucksmann’s companion gave the floor to French artists such as Luc Besson, Simon Porte Jacquemus, Karine Viard and Franck Dubosc. The latter was particularly moved when he read a letter addressed to his motheron the France 2 set. The actor of Camping was particularly touched and even had difficulty holding back his tears before reading the first sentence of this old letter.

You make my bed, you buy food for me to eat, you waste all your money on me, you’re so nice, mom.”, he said. It was with teary eyes that Franck Dubosc continued his rereading. “When I play with my friends, you call me to come home on time, before I get hurt. You always go get a bandage and a piece of gauze to treat me. You know I like fries and ground steaks, so you make me some. You buy me toys so I don’t get bored, you’re so nice.” Then the 59-year-old artist concluded with these few words: “You slap me, but in your heart you love me. At night, when I go to bed, you come and give me a kiss, and when I sleep too”. In the program What an era!the comedian revealed the reasons why he was so upset. This letter came about during a difficult time. Indeed, his mother Janine Plantrou was ill, and had to be hospitalized. Given his young age at that time, the one starring in the film New start could not visit him in the hospital. Unfortunately, his mother died in 2021 and Franck Dubosc is still affected by her disappearance.
