Franck Ribéry and his family celebrated the end of Ramadan on Monday, May 2, 2022. For the occasion, the football player shared several photos of his children, who have grown up well.
Monday, May 2, 2022 marked the end of the month of ramadan among Muslims. Franck Ribéry, who recently suffered a road accident, celebrated the Eid al-Fitr celebration, along with his family. The footballer who now plays as an attacking midfielder at US Salernitana wanted to share some photos of this event.
Like his wife, Wahiba Ribery, he posted photos on his Instagram account. On the first picture, Franck Ribery appears with the mention “eid mubarak“. On the other photos, you can see her three youngest childrenSeif el Islam (2011), Mohammed (2015) and Keltoum (2019).
The three children are dressed in traditional outfits and pose in front of the fireplace then in the kitchen of their house. They are surrounded by many decorative elements, drinks and sweets for celebrate the event. A beautiful moment that allows you to see how much the children of Franck Ribery have grown up. Only the footballer’s two eldest daughters, Hiziya (2006) and Shahinez (2008) do not appear in the photos.
Franck Ribéry converted to Islam in 2006
The former player of the France football team married in 2002 with Wahiba Ribery, a Franco-Algerian. Four years later, he made the decision to convert to islam and to take the Islamic name of Bilal Yusuf Mohammed. Very criticized following this decision, he spoke several times on his choice of religionwhich makes him very happy today.
In 2015, for example, he confided in an interview to SoccerFrance. “Some people even judge me on my life choices, for example on the fact that I converted to Islam. What does this have to do with my performance in football? Who are they to judge me? These are just personal beliefs, religion is a lifestyle choice based on concessions“he had declared in particular.
