The former President of the Republic and the actress were married civilly during an intimate ceremony this Saturday, June 4 at the town hall of Tulle, in Corrère, reports La Montage. And it is the mayor of the town, Bernard Combes, who was François Hollande’s deputy in the National Assembly, who received the consent of the couple.
If the couple wanted to publicize their wedding, the regional daily still revealed some information about the ceremony. We thus learn that Benjamin Biolay was among the guests. The two artists have been friends for many years and have even collaborated together on several occasions. They both appeared in a short film in 2009, titled Of pleasure. Benjamin Biolay and Julie Gayet also shot together in 2021 in the feature film Like an actress by Sebastien Bailly. Finally, the wife of the ex-president participated in several clips of the French singer. We have for example been able to see it in the clips of the songs What can it door In merco benz.

François Hollande and Julie Gayet did not choose to unite in the city of Tulle by chance. Indeed, both are very attached to Corrèze and have also bought a house in the town a few years ago. Since the beginning of their relationship, the former head of state and the French actress have decided to live their love out of sight. During an interview with World in November 2020, Julie Gayet confided in this discretion. “We know what we’re going through, we know we love each other, our private life is nobody’s business… We always said to ourselves, with François, that everyone had their own career, their job and that we didn’t have to appear together.
