Although the presenter Frank Elstner (78), who has Parkinson’s disease, has withdrawn from the TV spotlight, he still receives numerous job offers to this day. Elstner revealed that the “Bild am Sonntag” in a double interview with comedian Markus Maria Profitlich (61) on Parkinson’s.

Elstner wonders: “I still get things offered that make me ask myself: don’t people know how old I am?” Today he only does what is “even more fun” than his old programs. Frank Elstner became known as early as the 1960s for the show “Spiel ohne Grenzen”. “The Monday Painters” followed in the 1970s. In 1981 he invented “Wetten, dass ..?” Elstner moderated the format a total of 39 times between 1981 and 1987 before handing it over to Thomas Gottschalk (70). He is considered one of the most important show developers and show masters in German-speaking countries.
