Frankie Valli: The US singer remarried at the age of 89

Late love happiness: The Four Seasons frontman Frankie Valli (89) married again. Like “People” magazine reported, he said yes to his partner Jackie Jacobs (60) on June 26 in Las Vegas. He was previously married three times.

He sang his biggest hit in her ear

The wedding reportedly took place in a private ceremony with no guests at the Westgate Hotel. “It’s great to have found love again at this stage of my life,” quotes “People” from the singer. His big 1960s hit “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” is said to have played in the background during the wedding. He also sang the lines romantically into his bride’s ear. The 60-year-old wore a simple white wedding dress and dainty silver earrings. The 89-year-old had chosen a navy suit, collared white shirt and thin gold chain. Afterwards they toasted together with champagne glasses.

The singer had already met the former marketing manager in 2007. “We met at a restaurant in Los Angeles where he was having dinner with my friends and I,” she said. Only later did it spark: “We stayed in touch by phone until he called me at the end of 2015 and asked for a date, and we’ve been together ever since.”

Later this year, his band will start a series of concerts in Las Vegas

Not only privately is he still active in old age: With the Four Seasons he will soon be giving concerts for a year at the Westgate Hotel in Las Vegas – where he got married for the fourth time. Along with his bandmates, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990 and the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 1999. Valli has scored more than 35 hits, and is also successful as a solo artist.

He has already been married three times. From 1957 to 1971 his wife was Mary Mandel, who brought their daughter Celia into the relationship. The couple also had daughters Antonia and Francine. After the divorce, they had to go through severe strokes of fate: Celia died in a car accident in 1980, Francine just six months later from an overdose. Valli remarried in 1974 and divorced MaryAnn Hannigan eight years later. In 1984 he later married Randy Clohessy, with whom he had three sons: Francesco and twins Emilio and Brando. The couple separated in 2004 after 20 years of marriage.
