Frédéric Taddeï stops his show “out of loyalty for France”


Invited on the Buzz TV program, Frédéric Taddeï announced that he would stop his program Interdit d’Interdire, due to the diplomatic conflict between France and Russia.

It’s a decision he wished he hadn’t made but international events forced him to do so. This Tuesday, February 22, Frédéric Taddeï announced live on the set of Buzz-TV, have to stop the show Forbidden to Forbidbroadcast from Monday to Thursday on RT France, a continuous news channel, financed by Russia. “The international situation being what it is, I decided this morning to stop hosting Interdit d’Interdire. Out of loyalty to France, I cannot continue a contradictory debate program from the moment my country finds itself in open conflict with Russia”, he confided, thus evoking the conflict which pitted France against Russia for many weeks.

If he no longer animates Forbidden to ForbidFrédéric Taddeï specifies that he does not leave the chain for the moment : “Xenia Fedorova, the president of the channel, asked me not to make a decision too hasty”, he said, before continuing: “It’s not against RT France, nor against those who work there (…) but I can’t host this show at the moment”. A difficult decision to make for the host, very attached to this program.

Frédéric Taddeï will host a special evening for the Cesar ceremony on Europe 1

But Frédéric Taddeï will have his work cut out for the next few days. Indeed, Friday, February 24, he will host a special broadcast on Europe 1, on the occasion of the 47th Cesar ceremony. From 8 p.m., the journalist will return in particular to the highlights that have marked the cinema during the year 2021. Then, alongside the cinema journalist, Olivier Benkemoun, he will comment on this long-awaited event, led by master of ceremonies Antoine de Caunes. An evening full of surprises for Europe 1 listeners but also Canal+ viewers.
