The family had been in Verbier in the canton of Valais in southern Switzerland since January 6th, where they wanted to "share experiences in an international environment". Twelve weeks were planned in which the children should go to the renowned "Lemania-Verbier International School" and which now come to an abrupt end due to the latest developments in the corona virus. The crown prince couple would only find it natural to return home at a time when all Danes are required to stick together, the statement also says.
