This year’s “Free ESC” will take place at ProSieben on May 15. Now the broadcaster has announced which stars will announce country points.

The “Free European Song Contest” will take place for the second time next Saturday (May 15th) at ProSieben. On Sunday (May 9th) the Munich broadcaster announced the names of three celebrities who will announce the voting results of their home countries when the points are awarded. Also included are a real legend of the “Eurovision Song Contest” (ESC), a “The Masked Singer” star and a current chart topper.

“Free ESC” with Johnny Logan, Lucas Cordalis and Nathan Evans

With the two-time ESC winner Johnny Logan (66) a real superstar takes part in the scoring for Ireland. He won the European music competition in 1980 (The Hague) and 1987 (Brussels) and has always been one of the most successful artists in his country. Next to him, pop singer Lucas Cordalis (53) for Greece and surprise newcomer Nathan Evans (26) for Scotland will announce points.

A total of 16 European countries are again taking part in the “Free ESC” by show inventor and ProSieben veteran Stefan Raab (54). In addition to Germany, these include England, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands and Austria. The station has not yet announced who will compete for the individual nations in the competition in just over a week. However, the news agency spot on news learned from production circles that Ben Dolic (24) will be there – most likely for his home country Slovenia.

ProSieben will announce the complete list of participants for the “Free European Song Contest” 2021 on May 12 at a digital press conference.
