Twice a week we recommend a mountain of free apps for iOS and Android. With Android, we usually know how long the applications remain free. That’s not the case with iOS, so you might stumble across apps that are no longer free. If so, please let us know in the comments.

For this list, we browse apps like AppsFree or sites like mydealz.de to find out about the apps and mobile games that we recommend here. So creating this list is by no means secret knowledge or rocket science – just a service for you, where we screen out the most catastrophic apps in advance.

Our permanent tip: Do you find an app fundamentally interesting, but don’t need it at the moment? Please download anyway! You can then delete them directly from your phone and put them back onto your phone at any time free of charge.

• AppLock PRO (€1.99): Keep unwanted eyes away from your files! This security app keeps your apps locked with a passcode, fingerprint or pattern lock.
• Ringtone Scheduler (€0.69): Ringtone Scheduler allows you to change ringtones automatically according to time and mood. It also offers a nice explorer that you can use to quickly create ringtone lists.

• Calc Fast (€0.69): Improve your arithmetic skills with this math game. In Calc Fast you have to answer as many questions as possible in one minute. The game challenges you with all basic calculations.
• Heroes Legend – Epic Fantasy (€0.99): Fight in epic battles with your heroes in this action-packed RPG that features more than 60 characters, events and difficult bosses.
• Mental Hospital II (€0.59): Experience the horror in Mental Hospital II, an Outlast-style first-person horror game in which you explore an abandoned mental hospital.
• Zombie Age 3 Premium: Survival (€0.69): Choose your weapon and kill all zombies in this side scrolling shooter! In Zombie Age 3 you have over 30 weapons and over 20 characters with their own skills at your disposal, with which you can destroy the zombie hordes. (In German language)

• Xessages (€1.09): A discreet messaging app that doesn’t store anything and lets you send self-destructing messages.
• analog clock (€1.09): Creates an analog clock widget and restyles your device with over 100 clock faces. It supports full screen, different time formats, and can also control the screen brightness! (In German language)
• Links – Golf Statistics (€21.99): Collect the data of your golf games and master the game by analyzing the games! You can also create a handy scoreboard to track your current game.

• Sleepin’ Guy (€4.49): An intuitive physics puzzle game with a very interesting story spread over 28 levels. Dive into the dreams of our protagonist as he tries to wake up from some pretty intriguing dreams.
• My Music Tower: Premium (€5.49): In this rhythm game you build beautiful towers and host the best concerts with cats, dogs, ghosts and even baby sharks!
• Cards! – MonkeyBox 2 (€2.29): A card game with a story that requires a lot of wit to complete. Use your cards to survive as long as possible! (in German language)
