Free games on PS Plus in August: the starting signal has been given

The new free games for PS Plus subscribers are finally online! You can now secure and download these 3 games free of charge – at least if you have subscribed to Sony’s online service.

With Tony Hawk’s Pro Skaters 1+2 there is new food for all skateboard fans. The remake of the two classics captivates with a complete graphic overhaul and offers some more new features compared to the originals. Nevertheless, the game immediately makes a difference for fans comforting feeling of nostalgia (GIGA rating: 9/10 points).

Would you rather like a Japanese role-playing game of a special kind? Then could Yakuza: Like a Dragon be just right for you. In the role of former yakuza gangster Ichiban Kasuga, you set out to conquer the solve betrayal of your family and give the guilty a good beating. And if you don’t feel like the main quest, you can numerous side quests dedicate or simply stroll through Yokohama.

Is this all too colorful and too happy for you? Luckily there is also the third free game: Little Nightmares. Bandai Namco’s horror adventure may seem cute at first, but it offers one dark narrative and spooky gameplay moments. A real indie insider tip for everyone who hasn’t had the game on their list before (GIGA rating: 8/10 points).

Finally, good news for all PS4 owners: this time, none of the free games will slip through your fingers. All three games are offered across the board for both PS4 and PS5. However, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2 and Yakuza: Like A Dragon give PS5 players access to the corresponding next-gen versions.
