Free launches a “booster” option on its €2 mobile plan

There’s something new for Free Mobile’s €2 package. Alas, this is not an enrichment of the offer, but those who wish will be able to benefit from a Booster option at €2.99 resulting in some changes to the basic package. Activated, this non-binding option gives access to unlimited calls in mainland France, Europe and the overseas departments, as well as 1 GB of Internet in 4G. In total, this offer will therefore increase the bill to €4.99.

“This new option will appeal to consumers, and in particular parents of teenagers who wish to benefit from a generous offer in calls with more Internet, at a very attractive price”, indicates Free, the option being available from this Tuesday, September 20. In reality, Free does not revolutionize anything in this area and is content to align itself with what its competitors Red and B & You offer.

Remember that without the Booster option, the most economical of the mobile plans grants 2 hours of calls, unlimited SMS and 50 MB of mobile Internet. With the Freebox subscription, it is even free.
