Freebox Pop and Delta: free Disney+ subscription disappears for current customers

To attract consumers, Free offers various advantages when subscribing to its Freebox offers. This includes free access to SVOD platforms for a limited period. But as spring approaches, the three months of Disney+ Standard subscription offered have just evaporated for some subscribers.

Through a blog post from Univers Freebox published this Monday, March 18, we learn that current subscribers to Freebox Pop and Delta are no longer entitled to this Disney+ offer. “Those who have never activated the offer will now have to subscribe directly to one of the three formulas of the American giant’s SVOD service if they wish to access the content”, explains the media.

As a reminder, here are the advantages of the different subscriptions offered on Disney+:

  • Standard with advertising at €5.99 per month with Full HD quality, 5.1 audio and two screens simultaneously;

  • Standard at €8.99 per month with fewer ads and more downloads;
  • Premium at €11.99 per month with 4K HDR, Dolby Atmos, four simultaneous screens and downloads.

Free still wants to remain attractive, and the three months of Disney+ Standard are still offered to new Freebox Pop subscribers. On the Delta side, the box was replaced by a new high-end model at the start of the year: the Freebox Ultra. The Essential subscription also entitles you to three free months of the Walt Disney Company’s SVOD service.
