The Motorola Edge smartphone goes below €350 at Rue du Commerce, a drop of around 20% on the price usually observed. It is currently one of our best value for money.
Motorola is moving away from its Moto G range a bit to introduce the Edge, a mid-range smartphone with a curved screen that is good everywhere, but excels nowhere.
Motorola Edge
Introductory price €599
This Motorola Edge is a good smartphone, well executed, but perhaps too consensual as it looks like the competition. It is good everywhere, but excels nowhere, which may put it at a disadvantage against other phones in the same price range. Its two main opponents, the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 and the Realme X50 Pro 5G are excellent on certain points, such as the screen or the photo part. In the end, it all depends on what you are looking for. If you’re looking for the best performance, the Realme has got you covered. If you want the best photos, the Mi Note 10 is here. Finally, if you want some sort of compromise, then the Motorola Edge is the model for you.
Strong points
- Classic design but well executed.
- Good screen.
- Day photo part.
- Very good performance of the Snapdragon 765G.
Weak points
- Questionable quality of the 3.5 mm mini-jack socket.
- Ultra wide-angle and telephoto modules quite anecdotal at night.
- No sealing.

Realme GT Master Edition
Contrary to what one might think, the Realme GT Master is not a “light” version of the Realme GT. The smartphone is doing well on all points – normal, since it benefits from most of the technical sheet of the most recent flagship of the Chinese company. The compromises made at the level of its chipsets moderately affect the performance of the device, and its autonomy has the luxury of being better. In the end, this GT Master is a good alternative to the Realme GT as well as to models located in the same price segment.
