What are the favorite places for French people to make love off the beaten track? The Swedish sex toy brand Lelo sought to find out.
The confinement has impacted the sexual life of the French. Questioned by Ifop last May, 44% of them said they had not had sex during the previous four weeks and only 26% said they were satisfied with their sexuality.
This period is now over. Their freedom recovered, the French are ready to think outside the box for their antics. The naughty Swedish brand Lelo conducted a survey of 10,000 people around the world to find out their favorite places to have sex outside.
Where do French people like to make love?
5. The plane
In 5th position in the ranking made by Lelo, 16% of French people (and 39% of 41-50 year olds) have already taken to the skies aboard a plane. And 74% of French people enjoyed sex above the clouds for the "adrenaline shot" it provides according to the survey.
4. Public parks and gardens
The French do not seem to fear the crime of sexual exhibition (punishable by one year of imprisonment and a fine of 15,000 euros, according to article 222-32 of the Penal Code). Almost half of them (46%) have already makes love in parks and public gardens.
3. The swimming pool
The swimming pool comes third in the ranking: almost 6 out of 10 French people (57%) have already had sex there.
2. The beach
It's love at the beach … An experience already tested by 68.5% of the inhabitants of France.
1. The car
In 1st position in the ranking, we find the car! According to the survey conducted by the Lelo brand, 8 out of 10 French people have already experienced sex in the car.
