Friends will join MAX

A priori, Friends will not join the long list of series that become unavailable for streaming after the departure of a catalog (like The 100, For example). The departure of the sitcom does not happen at any random time: the streaming platform associated with HBO, called MAX, will be launched in France in mid-June 2024. It will thus recover the rights to certain cult series formerly available elsewhere .

As a result, there are not many countries left where Friends is available on Netflix. The departure to the United States took place in 2020, then it was organized country by country, region by region. It was inevitable.
