Friends: Series stars urge their fans to vote

Former "Friends" stars Lisa Kudrow, Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are calling to vote in the upcoming US election.

Lisa Kudrow (56), Jennifer Aniston (51) and Courteney Cox (56) are using their wide reach on Instagram to call on US citizens to vote in the upcoming presidential election in November. They are reminiscent of the hit series "Friends", for which they stood together in front of the camera. "Friends don't let friends miss the choice," Kudrow writes for her Instagram picture, on which the Phoebe actress can be seen with her colleagues. She points out that people should register to be able to vote. Your Instagram friends should also ask them to do so by linking them under the post.

Courteney Cox alias Monica also reminds of the upcoming election with a short clip of the little "Friends" reunion. Jennifer Aniston alias Rachel shared the clip in her Instagram story and also published a photo there that also reminds of "Friends". Aniston wrote of the picture in which her character Rachel is wearing a shirt that says "USA" and is horrified to hold her hand over her mouth: "If you realize that there are only 100 days left to choose."

Reunion special planned

The three actresses will soon be in front of the camera again: The streaming service HBO Max is planning a "Friends" reunion special. Together with her colleagues Matthew Perry (50, Chandler), David Schwimmer (53, Ross) and Matt LeBlanc (53, Joey), the actresses will look back on their time in the successful series. Shooting in California postponed due to the corona pandemic is scheduled to begin in August.
