In the first trailer for the long-awaited “Friends” special, the actors of the TV clique look at their time together with wet eyes.
The “Friends” reunion is coming soon: HBO Max has released the first trailer for the special – and it obviously gets emotional. The TV clique visits the old set, tries to remember details about the series in a game and clarifies elementary questions such as: “Were Ross and Rachel separated?”
For Jennifer Aniston (52), Courteney Cox (56), Lisa Kudrow (57), Matthew Perry (51), David Schwimmer (54) and Matt LeBlanc (53), the reunion seems to have been an emotional roller coaster ride. When entering the set, Aniston asks where the handkerchiefs are, Courteney Cox wipes the tears from his cheek at one point and Matthew Perry also announces that he has to cry.
Of course, there is also a lot of laughter and memories: Lisa Kudrow raves about the strong bond that binds the group and everyone remembers their meeting and the first rehearsals, read some scenes again and share anecdotes from the time the show took place became extremely successful.
Guest appearances by iconic ex-girlfriends (Maggie ‘Oh my God’ Wheeler) and ex-friends (Tom Selleck) of the characters can also be seen, as well as a bizarre fashion show in which even the armadillo costume gets a big appearance. It had already been announced that the special would feature other stars such as Reese Witherspoon (45), Elliott Gould (82), Lady Gaga (35) and Justin Bieber (27). The reunion premieres on HBO Max on May 27th.
