Ihe decor of the charming cottage with its quilted atmosphere has nothing to do with that of a diabolical castle in central Europe drowned in mist. A fashionable London designer created the clean interior by opting for cream, gray and green walls, hyper-contemporary furniture and dim lighting. The setting is resolutely “cosy”. No skulls in jars, anatomical drawings or dusty manuscripts, but landscape watercolors, flavored candles and books on yoga and spirituality.

However, in a gothic horror film, Frogmore Cottage, nestled in the shadow of Windsor Castle, could look a little like the lodging of Baron Frankenstein. Welcome to the house of the “damned” of the monarchy, located in the city park…
