From a height of 10 meters – start failed: paraglider crashed in Tyrol

A paraglider (47) crashed in the Tyrolean Oberland on Monday afternoon after apparently losing control of the glider during the start phase. The German suffered serious injuries.

Shortly before 4 p.m., the 47-year-old German took off with his paraglider near the Zirmbahn mountain station in Nauders. Even during the start phase, the paraglider suddenly lost control for an unknown reason and fell from a height of around 10 meters. Helicopter to the clinic flown.
