Many German music stars will return with tours in 2024, others will celebrate their farewell from the stage with concerts.
Regardless of whether your heart beats for rock, hip-hop or hits: concert lovers can also look forward to some tour highlights in 2024. These German artists will conquer the live stages next year.
Lena Meyer-Landrut
Singer Lena Meyer-Landrut (32) is going on tour again. “It’s official. The 2024 tour is coming and I’m sooooo excited wow,” she wrote last October in a post in which she also shared the dates for her concerts. Her “Lena Live 2024” tour kicks off on June 1st in Leipzig (Haus Auensee), followed by Berlin (Tempodrom) on June 2nd, Hamburg (Stadtpark) on June 3rd, Bielefeld (Lokschuppen) on June 5th and Cologne (Palladium) on June 6th. The grand finale will take place on June 7th in Dresden (Weißer Hirsch concert venue). Your new album is scheduled to be released in early 2024.
Mark Foster
Mark Forster (40) postponed his entire 2023 tour for a year in November 2022. “I know how privileged it is to experience these concert evenings with you. That’s why it’s so difficult for me to say this, but: the tour dates come too early for me,” he explained. The new dates for his arena tour will take Forster from Halle to Munich, Berlin, Freiburg, Leipzig or Nuremberg from March 26, 2024. There will be another concert in Vienna on May 25th.
Bushido
Bushido (45) is celebrating his stage comeback in 2024 and has announced a large-scale arena tour for the coming year. In total, the “King Forever!” tour will make 14 stops. It starts on March 21, 2024 in the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Bushido’s hometown of Berlin. After stops in Leipzig, Munich, Oberhausen, Frankfurt am Main, Cologne, Zurich (CH) and Esch-sur-Alzette (LUX), Bushido will celebrate the tour finale in Stuttgart on April 30th. Bushido’s new album is expected on February 9, 2024 and is called “Rex in aeternum”. The announcement of the tour states that it will probably be Bushido’s last tour. It is an appropriate farewell setting to say goodbye to his fans.
Peter Maffay
The ten concerts that Peter Maffay (74) will give in Germany in 2024 will be the last of this size and frequency in his career and are entitled “Farewell Tour”. The tour starts on June 21, 2024 in Rostock and ends on July 20 in Leipzig. Other tour locations for 2024 are Hanover, Munich, Bremen, Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Stuttgart and Frankfurt. Maffay explained in September that his departure from major live tours does not mean that he will completely avoid live stages in the future. “Individual performances or festivals are a possibility I can imagine.” He is now looking forward to having more time for his family, his Tabaluga Foundation and other hobbies.
Apache 207
The rapper Apache 207 (26) will be doing an extensive arena tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland next year. The big arena tour starts on May 2nd and will stop in these twelve cities, some with several concerts: Apache 207 will be in Berlin, Frankfurt, Mannheim, Dortmund, Hamburg, Hanover, Cologne, Leipzig, Munich, Vienna, Zurich and Stuttgart be visible. Roland Kaiser
Roland Kaiser (71) is going on a big tour next year. The pop singer wants to celebrate his 50th stage anniversary with his fans under the motto “RK 50 / 50 years – 50 hits!” celebrate. His fans obviously don’t want to miss out on it; demand for tickets for the concerts is high.
The tour starts on May 26, 2024 in Bad Segeberg. This will be followed by shows in Oberhof, Iffezheim, Hanover, Rostock, Munich and Vienna in June. Further performances are planned in Aspach, Cologne, Leipzig and Frankfurt am Main in July. There are additional shows in Willingen (June 8th), Erfurt (June 28th) and Berlin. Kaiser will celebrate the end of his tour there on August 16th and 17th with a double concert in the Waldbühne Berlin.
Pure
The successful band around singer Hartmut Engler (62) is going on a big open-air tour in the summer of 2024. A total of 25 concerts are planned – among other things, the musicians will perform again at Berlin’s Waldbühne after over 20 years. The concert series has the motto “Personal – in the open air”. In addition to the songs from the current album “Personal”, hits from 40 years of band history such as “Lena”, “Funkelperlenaugen” and “Abenteuerland” will also be presented.
The tour starts on June 22nd in Emmendingen, followed by a concert on June 28th in the band’s hometown, Bietigheim-Bissigen in Baden-Württemberg. Other stops in addition to Berlin will also be the beach in Losheim am See in Saarland and the Junge Garde open-air stage in Dresden. The tour will conclude on September 7, 2024 in the music arena on Timmendorfer Strand.
Vicky Leandros
“After years on stage and so many unforgettable moments, I will be going on a farewell tour next year,” announced Vicky Leandros (71) in November 2022. “I’m so excited to take you on a musical journey through time again to celebrate life and music together.” In autumn 2023, the singer took part in “My farewell tour – I love life”. There Capo Udo Jürgens
Ten years after his death, fans can once again enjoy concert performances by music legend Udo Jürgens (1934-2014). Thanks to the latest technology, he will be present on stage again in 2024. Under the title “Da Capo Udo Jürgens” several shows will take place in the major concert arenas, including the Berlin Mercedes-Benz Arena (November 2nd), the Hamburg Barclays Arena (November 3rd) or the Mitsubishi Electric Halle in Düsseldorf (November 22nd). ). According to the announcement, “Da Capo Udo Jürgens” is “a musical best of and therefore a journey through time through the work of an absolutely exceptional artist”. For this purpose, original recordings of the singer’s last performances were digitally processed. His original orchestra will play live, while Jürgen’s will be featured on a large LED wall.
The fantastic Four
The Fantastischen Vier have announced their eleventh studio album in October 2023. The record called “Long Player” will be released at the beginning of October 2024. And shortly afterwards the band will go on a big arena tour to play their new songs live in front of an audience. The big “Long Player” tour begins on December 1st, 2024 with the opening show in Würzburg. Concerts will then take place in Frankfurt am Main (December 2nd), Hanover (December 4th) or Cologne (December 5th).
