Salzburg’s bookworms can now borrow and return their books to and from the Lehen City Library outside of opening hours. The “Open Library” opens on Monday.
Library members can use the new area between 6:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. With their membership card, bookworms can access the 1st floor, where a large selection of books and other media awaits them. Borrowing is uncomplicated and independent. The media that can be borrowed there are part of the so-called “floating collection”. This includes media that were previously returned by other Salzburg readers.
