From Nantes to Nîmes, five French cities are sprucing up in Microsoft Flight Simulator

If you are from Amiens, Angers, Nantes, Nîmes or Reims, you now have the pleasure of admiring the monuments and distinctive places of your city from the clouds, in particular the great Notre-Dame d’Amiens cathedral , the castle of the Dukes of Brittany or the Arena of Nîmes. The reproduction by photogrammetry of these five cities is added to those of metropolises such as Paris, Bordeaux, Lille or even Marseille. To celebrate the International Aeronautics and Space Show, Microsoft and Asobo also modeled Paris-Le Bourget airport in its two configurations (standard and festival).

And to keep with the theme of France, the Latécoère 631 is making its debut in the in-game store. This six-engine seaplane took flight for the first time on November 4, 1942 and will remain for several years the largest in the world in its category. The last of the large transoceanic seaplanes, the Latécoère 631 flew until the mid-1950s. The machine is sold for 15 euros and comes with 16 liveries. Recall that Microsoft and Asobo announced Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, a separate game that will be compatible with planes, airports and most of the expansions available in the Microsoft Flight Simulator current.
