FromSoftware are developing several games, Bloodborne 2 and Elden Ring 2?

While Armored Core 6 has already leaked, FromSoftware has other projects in the pipeline, including one with Hidetaka Miyazaki directing. Bloodborne 2? Elden Ring 2? Dark Souls 4? A new IP?

While Elden Ring is doing well with its more than 13.4 million copies sold, the FromSoftware team is not taking a vacation. This is revealed by job offers and an interview with Hidetaka Miyazaki, president and game director of the studio.

FromSoftware works on different games

The Japanese studio of Dark Souls or Demon’s Souls PS5 “wants you” for multiple games in development. It was user Nibellion who spotted the information on Twitter.

We have started recruiting staff for a wide range of positions under several new projects. We look forward to working with you to create games at FromSoftware. Please see our special website for more information.

Of course, the projects will not be disclosed in the public square. But there may already be a fairly sure track. It is that ofArmored Core 6. Earlier this year, a ResetERA member claimed to have taken part in a quiz about a new game in the series. He even posted screenshots. The software would have a very large map, Souls-like boss fights or melee and ranged combat with weapons. And also a deep customization of the mechas.

Elden Ring 2 is also a serious option given the success, especially as the franchise wants to grow further. Then there’s the Blooborne 2 fantasy clamored for by fans.

Hidetaka Miyazaki at the controls of the next title

Hidetaka Miyazaki also confirmed that he is working on several games with his studio during an interview with 4Gamer. He even added that one of them was “currently in the final stages of development”. A game in the making for six years now and which could be Armored Core 6.

Miyazaki-san is on one of the titles as a director, and in the future he would like a fantasy project “more abstract”.

I’m already working on my next game as a director… so I would like to avoid saying too much. In the medium to long term, I would like to work on a more abstract fantasy project than anything we have done in the past.
