When I heard the word fruit acid peeling alone, I thought I could feel the burning sensation on the skin of my face. But if you suddenly have to deal with pimples in old age and are looking for a solution to this late pubescent problem, you deal with this treatment relatively quickly. should i do it

But what is a fruit acid peeling anyway?

As the name suggests, an acid is applied to the skin, which is intended to remove the top layer of skin and thus stimulate your own skin to regenerate. This not only gives you back a natural glow, but also allows acne patients to reduce deep craters and slowly renew the diseased skin. After a treatment, caring active ingredients penetrate the skin more easily and the skin generally has more power to supply itself with moisture. Doesn’t sound wrong at first.

Acne in old age: diet, stress and other causes

Yes, the skin is the mirror of the soul and if it is not pure and shines like a diamond, something in the body must be broken. So I looked like a crumble cake and in the morning I tried to cover the impure areas of my face with painstaking detailed work and I was then allowed to hear that I just don’t treat myself well. Or that a little less make-up would suit me better. Or the super expensive foundation is definitely to blame for my impure skin. Oh, you can fuck me! Yes, there is probably something imbalanced in my body. Shit happens! Maybe I was stressed, maybe it was the hormonal ups and downs of the last few years, maybe I’m just getting older. Maybe I didn’t get enough fresh air. Sometimes I was too tired to do yoga every day at sunrise and too stingy to whistle the balanced Poké Bowl at lunchtime. Now I have the salad. Uh, the fast food. And just pimples. I was able to experience for myself that a healthy diet, regular exercise, drinking plenty of water, fresh air and rest are essential for beautiful skin. But don’t we all have bad times sometimes? Or no time? Then it is often easier and not reprehensible for me to reach into the beauty bag of tricks than to turn my life upside down to see if it works. A fruit acid peeling I haven’t tested it yet, but now was the right time to do so.

beauty salon or at home?

It is true that fruit acid products, both in the drugstore and in the high-end sector, are hyped again and again, which are supposed to be really great. However, since I had respect for the word “acid” and obviously don’t do enough for myself anyway, I treated myself to a trip to the beautician – and I haven’t regretted it either. At first she gave me a good feeling that my so-called problem skin was not that problematic and that we could get it under control together. There you are! However, it quickly became apparent that a single treatment would not get me very far. A unique treatment with fruit acid peeling clears the skin, making it immediately fresher and crisper. A kick for tired faces with minor imperfections. Significant pimples and pimple marks, blackheads, sub-layers and calluses need more, we have to go deeper into the skin – that’s why she recommends five treatments at intervals of one week.

How does the treatment with fruit acid peeling work?

The beautician first analyzed my skin and adjusted the acidity accordingly. We will increase from week to week and thus slowly get the skin used to the chemical substance. For this reason alone it is worth having the peeling done by a professional and not experimenting with products or household remedies at home – even if these are of course not in such high doses. Admittedly, I didn’t find the sulphurous smell of the peeling particularly pleasant. But contrary to my expectations, it did not burn the skin. The rest and relaxation during the treatments was a small wellness experience for me every week. During the treatment, my face received special care. She flaked a bit between treatments and felt drier than usual with the creams got a good grip. In addition, the skin is extremely sensitive after a fruit acid peeling, as the uppermost, horny layers of skin are removed, allowing all harmful substances to penetrate directly into the “new skin”. Therefore, a high sun protection factor Mandatory and other strenuous treatments prohibited. The skin should simply be left alone. A slightly rosy reddening is normal – but it should not burn.

And the result? My experience with the fruit acid peeling

Okay, at over 350 euros the treatment wasn’t exactly cheap overall, but it was worth it for me. With the fruit acid peeling, my skin has not only won the battle against the nasty impurities, but simply looks fresher, healthier and more radiant. I even have fewer wrinkles. Looking in the mirror shows me a younger, happier me. Of course, my environment also speaks to me that I seem to have gotten the curve and done more for myself again. Mmm, exactly. You are right. Since I’m really enjoying my diamond-like appearance and see the professional fruit acid peeling as a long-term investment, I’m reluctant to fall straight into the pimple trap again. According to my miracle beautician, that doesn’t happen that quickly either, the acid takes care of that. Nevertheless, every now and then a little more vitamins end up on my plate, I drink a lot of water every day and often treat myself to a relaxing walk in the fresh air. In any case, it is good for the skin – and for me too. And for everything else there’s the beauty bag of tricks.
