Frustration with Rodgers’ successor
Jakob Johnson clears the way to the Raiders victory

Stuttgart football professional Jakob Johnson made a significant contribution to his Las Vegas Raiders’ second win of the season. The fullback doesn’t add any yards to the statistics, but he does make a crucial block. On the other side there is frustration.
The Las Vegas Raiders got their second win of the season against the Green Bay Packers and stopped their recent series of defeats. At 17:13, Stuttgart’s Jakob Johnson played a major role in the Raiders’ decisive second touchdown when he blocked the way for Josh Jacobs. However, Johnson, who caught his first pass of the season for twelve yards in week four against the Los Angeles Chargers, did not bring his own gains into the statistics. For the Packers it was the second defeat in a row after the defeat against the Detroit Lions a week ago, both teams now have two wins after five games in the NFL season.
“It’s a step in the right direction. The more you can get used to winning and make it part of your identity, it will help you throughout the season. Keeping winning is what it’s all about.” said pass receiver Davante Adams on the TV channel ESPN after the duel with his former team. He gave special praise for the strong performance of defender Maxx Crosby. “Maxx is a monster. He’s a game changer. I’ve played with a lot of great players and I haven’t seen anyone with so much pride and so much skill in what they do.”
Jordan Love, as Aaron Rodgers’ quarterback successor at the Packers, also had a difficult evening with many moments of frustration because of Crosby’s performance. He ended up with three interceptions and no touchdown passes. AJ Dillon scored the only touchdown for the guests, and kicker Anders Carlson scored the other points with two field goals and an extra point. His brother Daniel Carlson missed two field goal attempts for the Raiders, but was still able to celebrate at the end of the game.
