FUBAR Season 2: She is the new opponent of Arnold Schwarzenegger

Shortly after the release of the first season, the streaming giant Netflix announced that the spy series “FUBAR” with Season 2 extended Arnold Schwarzenegger will continue to play CIA agent Luke Brunner.

Arnie personally announced the happy news at Netflix’s so-called Tudum Fan Event. A total of eight episodes await us, each of which will be around 60 minutes long.

FUBAR: Start date

It has not yet been announced when the second season of the action spy series “FUBAR” will start. Due to the quick announcement of a new season, it is assumed that the sequel will not be 2024 could be launched.

How the second season of “FUBAR” will continue is not yet known. Season one ended with a cliffhangerwill probably be set at exactly that point at the beginning of Season 2.

*Possible SPOILER* Season 1 ended with arms smuggler Boro Polonia uncovering the identities of CIA father-daughter duo Luke Brunner and Emma and sharing them with the underworld. Despite Polonia’s death, new villains are waiting to take Luke and Emma’s lives.

The two must clear up countless lies they have spun over the years. They must also come to terms with the fact that their former lives are now practically over. With the lies off the table, Luke and Emma’s relationships could also develop. Their loved ones know about their work and could return to them.

Tina’s existence as a mole also still needs to be clarified. So far she has been on the side of her colleagues, but that could change in the coming episodes. So much remains unexplained, which leads wonderfully into a second season. This has not been confirmed yet, but things are looking pretty good for Arnie.

FUBAR: Cast

It remains to be seen which new characters will appear alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger (“Terminator”) as Luke Brunner and Monica Barbaro (“Splitting Up Together”) as Luke’s daughter Emma in the upcoming season of “FUBAR”.

Presumably, familiar faces such as Fabiana Udenio as Luke’s ex-wife and Emma’s mother Tally Brunner, Milan Carter as Barry or Barbara Eve Harris (“Chicago PD”) as Dot will also be in front of the camera in season two.

New to the cast in the second season of “FUBAR” is “Matrix” star Carrie-Anne Moss. In the new episodes, the Canadian plays Greta Nelso, a former spy from East Germany. Greta has a past with Luke Brunner.

After his last mission, Brunner is back to face new villains. This one is an old flame from Luke’s past who threatens to destroy the world… if she doesn’t destroy his life first.

Nick Santora serves as showrunner of the series and serves as executive producer alongside Schwarzenegger. Adam Higgs, Scott Sullivan, Holly Dale and Bill Bost are involved in the production, as are David Ellison and Dana Goldberg of Skydance.
