A second season of “Fubar” was confirmed in June. In the new episodes, main actor Arnold Schwarzenegger meets an ex-love.

“Fubar” gets a new character. Last year, Netflix confirmed the production of a second season. In the action comedy series, Arnold Schwarzenegger (76) plays a retired, veteran CIA agent. As Variety magazine now reports, Carrie-Anne Moss (56) will join the existing cast in the eight one-hour episodes of the second season.

Moss plays a spy

Carrie-Anne Moss will play an ex-love interest of Schwarzenegger’s character Luke Brunner in season two. She takes on the role of a former East German spy who has a passionate past with Brunner. “An old flame from Luke’s past threatens to destroy the world… if she doesn’t destroy his life first,” the announcement reads.

Filming started in April

“Fubar” premiered on Netflix in May 2023. Just a month later, the streaming platform announced that there would be a second season. It is not yet known when the episodes will be released.

Recently, fans were worried about whether Arnold Schwarzenegger would return to his old strength after his heart surgery. “I’ve received so many nice messages from all over the world, but a lot of people have asked if my pacemaker will cause any problems with ‘Fubar’ season two. Absolutely not. I’ll be ready to shoot in April and you can “Only see it if you’re really looking for it,” the actor emphasized in March on Instagram.

Carrie-Anne Moss became world famous for her role as Trinity alongside Keanu Reeves (59) in the “Matrix” films. This was followed by numerous other leading and supporting roles, including in “Memento”. The Canadian has appeared in over 70 film and television productions.
