To celebrate its 120th anniversary, a Lyon-based transport and logistics company invites its employees to slip an envelope into a “dream box”.

It’s Christmas before time at BMV, a transport and logistics company based in Lyon. The ambition of Jean-Alexandre Manchès, the CEO, is explosive: he wants to realize the dream of one of his 1100 employees on the occasion of the 120th anniversary of the company. The ingenious idea gradually took shape with the help of the executive committee. Since September 5, a small van has been traveling the roads in France and across the Rhine to collect dreams.

The BMV Tour obviously delights the members of the company who maintain the hope of being the lucky one. By slipping their wish into the “ dream box they leave part of their destiny in the hands of fortune. Marie, 24, tells us: “The whole company is very enthusiastic and we are all waiting for the famous draw. Of course, we all individually hope to be chosen by lot. “.

Head full of dreams

Villa on the shores of the Mediterranean, trip to the tropics, departure for the moon… all dreams are allowed. “For my part, I have two big dreams that are important to me: the purchase of a house with a beautiful swimming pool or a world tour through the paradisiacal islands of the Caribbean type. Most people share the same dream. A house would be more than enough for them. It would be a way to raise a family “says Mary.

According to the CEO, no financial and practical limits are set and this for the sake of spontaneity and freedom: ” Limiting a dream puts an immediate end to the very principle of the dream. Dreaming without limits allows you to express your true and deep perception of the needs of the world of tomorrow says the manager. Certain conditions are still fixed, he assures: “ The company will only be able to realize dreams that are achievable by its means“.

A desire to unify

The objective of this action is not only to change the life of one of the lucky employees of BMV. Jean-Alexandre Manchès also wants to make the inter-agency network more active and gradually plan the future of the group, which has 46 agencies in France and Germany and is seeking to develop internationally: “Our goal is to keep growing and getting stronger to make even more dreams come true.“, he explains. The draw is scheduled for October 25.
