So your eyelashes stay curved all day long
What do you need for the extended swing? Eyelash curler and waterproof mascara. Perfect, you probably already have that in your make-up collection, right? What Wayne Goss now recommends seems astonishing at first, but achieves an amazing effect. You must first remove all of the product from the brush of your waterproof mascara with a cloth. Only a small residue of the mascara may remain on the brush. With this you wash the lashes before bending the eyelashes. This is a very important step, according to Goss. After curling the hair with a hot curling iron, the curls quickly unhook when they come into contact with water. It is similar with our eyelashes. If we wash curved eyelashes with normal mascara that is based on water, our lashes cannot hold the momentum either.
That's why you should give a light coat of waterproof mascara before curling your eyelashes. Let them dry briefly and grasp the eyelashes with the pliers directly at the roots and bend for at least 30 seconds. Then you grab the waterproof mascara again and brush your eyelashes with the rest of the product before you put your lashes back on the eyelash curler. This time, however, you point the eyelash curler upwards at a 90 degree angle and bend the eyelashes again for 30 seconds (how that should look exactly, very much in the video by Wayne Goss).
After these steps, your eyelashes are super curved and ready for the mascara of your choice. Now you can also use normal mascara because the two thin coats of waterproof mascara protect your eyelashes from the water-based formulation of regular mascaras.
