Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile reveals its tactical RPG gameplay in a new trailer

manga Fullmetal Alchemist celebrates its 20th anniversary, and on this occasion, Square-Enix plans to release a mobile game which should be released sometime in the summer. We had a brief glimpse of the gameplay during the first presentation of the title, but the publisher is now a little more generous with a full trailer, which allows us to better understand the contours of this adaptation.

More tactical gameplay than you might think

Contrary to what one might think, Fullmetal Alchemist is actually a tactical RPG where it will be necessary to form a team, probably based on gacha, and carefully place its pawns on the chessboard of the battle.

Obviously, each character will be entitled to his special moves in the elaborate staging, while we can see that alchemy can be used in various ways, like Edward who builds walls to block the way of opponents.

We will thus find all the history of the mangawith a revisit of cult scenes (yes, even the one with, you know…), and it will be possible to increase the level of our characters via various objects to recover.

A Japanese beta will take place from March 31 to April 8., but will be limited to 6,000 users in total. If, by chance, you live on Japanese territory and want a chance to participate, you will have to go to the official website before March 22.
