Yet very little appreciated by the public, the live action feature film adaptation of the manga Fullmetal Alchemist has not said its last word. Indeed, five years later, two other films will see the light of day.

In the meantime, you can always throw yourself into the anime Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
.

Fullmetal Alchemist : two films to “celebrate” 20 years

This is an announcement that we did not necessarily expect. Fullmetal Alchemist, the live action adaptation released in 2017 of the cult manga and anime, will have not one, but two sequels. Warner Bros. has just unveiled a trailer for Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter – The Avenger Scar and Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Chapter – The Last Transmutation.

The first, expected on May 20, will focus, as its name suggests, on the confrontation between the Elric brothers and Scar (played by Mackenyu Arata). The second will conclude the adventure on June 24. The original cast will be back, while central characters like King Bradley (Hiroshi Tachi), Alex Louis Armstrong (Kôji Yamamoto), Olivier Mira Armstrong (Chiaki Kuriyama) or Van Hohenheim (Seiyô Uchino) have also found their actors and actresses . All that remains is to see if in France, Netflix will once again offer to broadcast these adaptations.
