Fully flexible – New saddle to revolutionize cycling

Occasional cyclists in particular are familiar with the problem: even on a high-quality saddle, cyclists can still feel their bottom uncomfortable after a long ride. A new saddle from Australia is designed to prevent this.

At the Eurobike bicycle trade fair (July 3rd to 7th) in Frankfurt, the Australian company AtaraxyBSC is presenting the saddle called Vabsrider, which promises a high level of seating comfort even on long tours. The highlight: the saddle is divided into two halves, both of which are movable lengthways and swing back and forth. This is intended to follow the rhythmic leg movement of the rider, support the gluteal muscles and at the same time relieve the sit bones by distributing the pressure downwards onto the contact surface. According to the manufacturer, this avoids typical pain that is particularly unpleasant on long tours. Longer rides in particular are said to be comfortable with the Vabsrider saddle. The saddle is not yet ready for the market, but you will be able to test it at the Eurobike. The manufacturer has not yet announced exactly when and at what price the saddle will be launched on the market.
