The tribute to the British sovereign has also been difficult for her great-grandchildren, in particular Princess Charlotte. As revealed by some pictures taken on the forecourt of Westminster Abbey, where she arrived with her mother, Kate Middleton, the queen consort, Camilla, and her older brother, prince George, the young princess collapsed even before she entered the monastery. Princess Charlotte dignified in Westminster Abbey

Despite her grief, Prince William’s daughter did not miss a single second in her duty. After the state funeral at Westminster Abbey, Princess Charlotte and her brother followed the procession of Elizabeth II’s coffin by car to Wellington Arch, southeast of Hyde Park, to watch from the coffin of their great-grandmother in the capital of London. With Prince William and Kate Middleton, they then joined St. George’s Chapel in Windsor, where a second ceremony in tribute to Queen Elizabeth II was held. This evening, they will attend, in the sole company of their loved ones, the burial of the latter.
