Shortly before 11 a.m., dozens of guests began to gather in the basilica’s forecourt. Among them, personalities from the journalistic world, in particular Claire Chazal, Michel Drucker, Anne-Claire Coudray and Evelyne Dhéliat, but also actors from the political world.
The First Lady, Brigitte Macron, notably came to pay tribute to the Emperor of 1 p.m., as well as Nicolas Sarkozy, his wife Carla Bruni, or even Rachida Dati and Christian Estrosi. A candidate for the 2022 presidential election also made the trip, in the person of Valerie Pécresse. Currently in the countryside, the latter came to say a last goodbye to her friend, to whom she had already paid tribute on March 2, shortly after the announcement of his death. “Infinite sadness on learning of the disappearance of my friend Jean-Pierre Pernauthad written the ex-Minister of the Budget on Twitter. Two hours of ceremony and an intimate burial
According to information from Parisian, the ceremony in tribute to Jean-Pierre Pernaut will last two hours. The president of the TF1 group, Gilles Pélisson, the journalists Michel Izard and Dominique Lagrou-Sempère, the host Cyril Hanouna and the wife of the late journalist, Nathalie Marquay, should speak during this one. Thereafter, Jean-Pierre Pernaut will be buried in the strictest privacy in a place still kept secret.
