After Prince Philips’ funeral ended, Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer spoke up. That was how he felt about the ceremony.

On Saturday afternoon (April 17, 2021) the funeral service for Prince Philip, † 99, took place on the grounds of Windsor Castle. Shortly after the service ended, Charles Spencer, 56, the brother of Princess Diana, † 36, who died in 1997, spoke on Twitter.

Princess Diana’s brother was not at Prince Philips’ memorial service

“My goodness. What an amazingly moving ceremony,” wrote the 56-year-old on the social media platform. He himself was not present at the memorial service, which had to be limited to 30 guests due to the corona pandemic.

In addition to Queen Elizabeth, 94, the closest family members were almost exclusively present, including Prince Charles, 72, Prince William, 38, and Prince Harry, 36. The Royal Family strictly adhered to the applicable Corona rules: the mourners wore mouths and noses -Protection and sat at a distance of at least two meters from each other.
