Funko Fusion: developers respond to criticism with a first big update

10:10 Games launched two weeks ago now Funko Fusionan action game with figurines Pop! allowing us to explore many worlds of franchisesUniversal. Unfortunately, the game was far from perfect at launchcollecting an average of 54/100 on Metacritic and many mixed reviews. The players expressed their dissatisfaction, developers react.

After several patches to resolve bugs and other technical issues, 10:10 Games now launches the first major update of Funko Fusion, called Quality of Life #1. The game is now more fun, with faster access to Worlds and the characters, but that’s not all. Here are the new features and changes brought by this update:

First of all, Worlds can now be unlocked much faster. Players can access a new World after completing a single level, instead of having to complete each level of a World. Additionally, by completing a level in a World, all base characters in that World will be automatically unlocked. It is now possible toimmediately use any unlocked character in any levelthus allowing franchises to be mixed from the start.

Second, to achieve the goal of making the gaming experience as enjoyable as possible, the game has been completely revised based on community feedback. Combat and pacing have been rebalanced to eliminate unintentional frustrations. In this “Quality of Life” update, excessive enemy spawning has been reducedas well as the number of opponents that can overwhelm players at certain points in the game. Combat should remain challenging, but never frustrating. Furthermore, adjustments have been made to limit unnecessary backtracking and reduce the risk of blockages.

Funko Fusion is now better, but there is still work to be done, the developers specify that they are working to make these adjustments in cooperative mode. Available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch, Funko Fusion is sold €49.99 on Amazon.
