For the second year in a row, the Short Film Festival braves the pandemic and adapts by offering, from March 24 to 30, free access to the 150 films of its 2021 selection. platform.

Part of the programming for this fifth edition will also benefit from “real screenings” in twenty-one ambassador cities (on the walls, from balconies, in private homes, in hospitals, prisons and schools) but also in real movie theaters (on presentation of a pass and subject to availability).

“Business trip” (2008): the blunder

On a business trip, Jean-Paul Clément (Guillaume Canet) just arrived in the hotel room reserved for him, learns that his partner is leaving him. Under the bed, the photo-polaroid of a call girl (and her phone number written in black marker) calls out to him, distracts him before he turns away. Then come back to it.

“Step-dad” (2014): difficult passage test

François (Jonathan Cohen, perfect) meets the parents of his girlfriend, Julie (Ana Girardot) during a Sunday lunch specially organized for this purpose. But this moment, which could take on the charm of the bourgeois house in which he was welcomed, turned to the test. Because the future father-in-law, a big authoritarian and vulgar clumsy, is far from being a tender one.
