The Chinese club FunPlus Phoenix has terminated its current roster on VALORANT. The team announced the dissolution of its structure engaged in Europe. The 2022 VCT Masters 2 champions will therefore not be renewed, a decision that seems almost logical given that almost all of the big rosters that didn’t get a spot in the new franchise league were forced to do the same in recent weeks, G2 in the lead.
FPX published a press release explaining the end of its roster on the esports scene of Riot’s game, without revealing the direct link with its non-presence in the new EMEA international league.
From the unknown to the best in EMEA, we’ve come a long way and overcome many obstacles to get to where we are today.
The legacy, spirit, dedication and all the incredible accomplishments you have accomplished under our banner will never be forgotten.

Thereby, ardiis, SUYGETSU, Zyppan, Shao, Ange1 and coach d00mbr0s are now free agents and looking for a new opportunity. FPX, which entered the VALORANT scene in 2020, had a very good year in 2022 with a victory at the Masters 2, a 4th place at the Champions 2022 and yet another championship title at the Stage 1 Challengers EMEA.
