Furi returns with a new fighter

Released in 2016 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One then on Switch in early 2018, Furi returns on May 17 with new content. Indeed, The Game Bakers studio has a little surprise in store for its action game through a paid DLC, Onnamusha. Expected at a price of 6.99 euros, it will be available on PC, PS4, PS5 and Switch. This content will offer the possibility of embodying the Rider Onnamusha, a powerful fighter capable of alternating between two combat stances.

Onnamusha fighting stances

The first, Spark, very fast with a double dodge. If the parry will heal, the damage done is not very strong. It will quickly charge the star power gauge, an attack that is both powerful and fast but limited in time. In contrast, the second stance, Thunder, is extremely powerful but slow and the roll will be risky. Here, the Star Power Gauge will fill much slower. It’s up to you to alternate between styles to find your balance. With this new fighter, it will be possible to replay in the Story, Speedrun and Training modes.

But that’s not all. The Game Baker will also be releasing a free base game update on May 17, 2022. This will include all free and paid content available for Furi, including the One More Fight DLC that was initially paid for upon release. With this update, all the improvements since the game’s release such as Invincible mode, Furier Speedrun or alternative controls will be available on PC, PS4, Switch but also PS5. The PS5 version can also be obtained for free by owners of the PS4 version of Furi. On the other hand, the new content is not currently planned on Xbox.
